Role and Responsibilities:

In the Amazon Grocery Shopper role, you will play a key part in ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with team members to achieve operational objectives and deliver excellent service to customers.

• Retrieve customer orders from shelving using handheld devices and company systems.

• Package items according to Amazon’s guidelines and customer specifications.

• Check products for damage or defects before packing and shipment.

• Verify orders for accuracy prior to dispatch.

• Report any inventory or order discrepancies promptly.

• Use inventory management systems to locate and collect products.

• Support restocking and conduct inventory audits as needed.

• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Immediately report safety issues or incidents to supervisors.

• Work together with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets.

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members to address challenges.

• Operate scanning tools and Amazon’s proprietary software to track inventory and progress.

• Process returns and exchanges according to company procedures.

• Adapt to shifting tasks and priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional attention to detail for precise order fulfillment.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills for teamwork.

• Physical endurance to lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.

• Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.

• Flexibility to adjust to changing tasks and workflow.

• Familiarity with handheld scanners, computers, and company systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment.

• Understanding of inventory management, order picking, and packing procedures.

• Quick learner capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
